Insulation Materials We Use

Why Fiberglass?

We use Owens Corning Fiberglas™ insulation products manufactured from 70% reclaimed recycled material, with no harsh chemicals and all natural binders made from maltodextrin (a sugar derivative) that is soft to the touch.

Why Mineral Wool?

Mineral wool contains a minimum of 70% recycled content, and it’s non-combustible, inorganic and mold-resistant. Thermafiber® from Owens Corning is the #1 specified brand of commercial mineral wool.* Mineral wool insulation resists fire and temperatures in excess of 2,000˚F while also providing sound control and energy conservation.

As a semi-rigid product that is easy to cut and install, its flexibility allows it to conform to building shapes and construction irregularities. With 70% minimum recycled content, Thermafiber® contributes to LEED® building programs. Additionally, it resists mold and fungi and is vermin-proof due to its inorganic material.

  • Non-Combustible

Resists fire and temperatures in excess of 2,000˚F while also providing sound control and energy conservation.

  • Mold-Resistant

Resists mold, fungi, and is vermin proof due to its being an inorganic material.

  • Water-Resistance

Allows the vapor barrier to perform without creating additional traps for moisture in the wall cavity.

  • Sustainability

70% minimum Recycled Content contribute to LEED® building programs.

  • Ease of Installation

As a semi-rigid product that is easy to cut and install, its flexibility allows it to conform to building shapes and construction irregularities.

Why Spray Foam?

Spray foam creates an unsurpassed air barrier insulation system that is the most effective way to insulate any type of building. This air barrier not only delivers thermal resistance against conduction (R-value) that surpasses batted and blown fiberglass and cellulose, it also has a higher R-value per inch so it’s more efficient at insulating with less material required. Spray foam dramatically reduces energy loss through convection and is best suited for residential and commercial new construction, remodels and new addition projects.

SPRAY FOAM MATERIALS WE USE

At Marshall’s Insulation, we choose to install spray foam products from Natural Polymers™, an Owens Corning company. Natural Polymers™ spray foam insulation helps to optimize every job with a full line of innovative formulations. Whether a structure needs closed cell, open cell or zero cell spray foam, we will consult with you to determine the right application for your commercial project. Plus, all Natural Polymers™ products are GREENGUARD Gold Certified for added peace of mind and safe to install on plumbing and sprinkler systems.

Insulation Services We offer

  • Crawlspace Installation + Encapsulation (Clean Crawl)

Crawlspace installation involves creating or improving the space beneath a home's floor, typically for insulation, ventilation, and moisture control purposes. Crawlspace Encapsulation is the process of sealing and insulating the area beneath a home's floor to improve indoor air quality, lower energy costs and shield the home from moisture and pests.

  • Attic Insulation

Studies have shown that adding attic insulation offers a 116% ROI (return on investment)*. By properly air sealing and insulating an attic, we can help create an overall more comfortable home. The right insulation helps to regulate the attic temperature, making a home cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter. Fiberglass is our insulation type of choice for most local attic insulation services.

  • Wall Insulation

Wall insulation is the process of adding insulation material within the walls of a building to improve energy efficiency, prevent heat transfer, provide sound control and enhance indoor comfort. We use fiberglass insulation from Owens Corning, the #1 most trusted insulation brand*, for wall insulation applications.

  • Ventilation

We install and extend kitchen and bath vents, install air sealing to tighten the home envelope, add ventilation to attic spaces, and rescreen foundation vents. We also install insulation baffles to protect low ventilation and improve air circulation in attic spaces.

  • Ductwork

Insulation around ductwork helps maintain the efficiency of heating and cooling systems and helps reduce noise levels from the ducts, contributing to a more comfortable indoor environment. Our crews can remove and replace damaged metal or flex ductwork, perform duct sealing and wrapping, seal duct systems, and re-wrap ductwork with new insulation.

  • Insulation Removal

Do you need old residential insulation removed? Our crews can remove insulation, which can help to improve indoor air quality, especially if there are attic or crawlspace issues like mold, mildew or pests. Then, we can help determine the right insulation replacement for your needs.

  • Residential

Residential insulation increases energy efficiency and comfort in your home. At Marshall's Insulation, we offer a range of insulation options, including traditional batt insulation, blown-in insulation, and modern spray foam solutions. Our team of experts ensures proper installation to minimize energy loss, reduce utility bills, and improve indoor air quality. With our services, you can create a more comfortable living environment while also benefiting from potential rebates and tax credits on qualifying insulation materials.

  • Commercial

Marshall's Insulation offers comprehensive commercial insulation services designed to enhance energy efficiency and comfort in your business. Our team provides tailored solutions, including spray foam, fiberglass, and rigid board insulation, to meet the specific needs of various commercial spaces. By improving thermal performance and reducing energy costs, our services contribute to a more sustainable and productive work environment.

  • Sprayfoam

Spray foam insulation is an effective solution for sealing gaps and cracks, providing superior thermal resistance and moisture control. By choosing our spray foam services, homeowners can experience enhanced energy efficiency and a more consistent indoor temperature throughout their living spaces.
